Over the TopExemplo
Have you ever looked back over your week and thought about how you spent your time? It can be a bit scary but also help you see something. Give it a try. What's something you spent an hour on? Two? Five? How much time did you spend endlessly scrolling on your phone? Binging a show? Gaming?
Okay . . . here's the point of this scary little exercise: Your time disappears fast. If you're not intentional about how you spend it, it can evaporate. Your time is valuable, so if you want to be generous with it, you will need to be intentional and make a plan.
Take a few minutes right now, think about your upcoming week, and plan how you'll spend your time. Here are a few things to consider. What are some things that will help you rest and recharge? When will you spend time doing what matters to God? What do you need to do for your family and school this week?
You don't have to let your attention get stolen. Ask God for help because it is hard to remain intentional. This is why the apostle Paul encourages the church in Galatians 2 not to give up. He says that when we're diligent and prioritize how we generously give our time to the things God says matter, it's like planting seeds that produce an amazing harvest.
Talk with God about how you'll spend your time today, put it into practice, and your tomorrow will start to look different.

What if that same mindset inspired us to live differently in our lives? What if we looked to God for ways to be extreme and do the unexpected in places like generosity?
