RESPONSIBILITY OF LEADING PEOPLE

Leading people is a huge responsibility and one that should not be taken lightly, but it is also a great privilege! When God can trust us to speak into people’s lives, use us to encourage them to grow, and to reflect what a life following Jesus looks like, it is an honor! 

We are called to make disciples, and in some form, every Christian is looked to as a leader. When we begin to tell people that our Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ, unbelievers are going to start paying closer attention to how we live our life. If our life doesn’t look different than theirs, they aren’t going to be attracted to Jesus and we end up playing a part in discrediting God’s name. If we are constantly growing in the fruits of the Spirit, we will be a great example to unbelievers and other Christians.

Either way we are leading them, it just depends on if we want to be responsible for leading them down the wrong path or the right path. As we continue this Bible Plan, we will show you what it looks like to lead like Jesus.
