Five Traits of a Courageous LeaderSample

Five Traits of a Courageous Leader- Part I
In this series we will discuss five traits of a courageous leader as modeled by the prophet Daniel.
In Daniel 1, Daniel and his young friends are kidnapped and indoctrinated in the ways of Babylon. They were commanded to eat meat and drink wine that had been sacrificed to other god’s, in violation of the Jewish command not to have any other gods.
In Daniel 1:8, we learn, “But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.”
Daniel lays down the foundation for his future leadership style by “Standing on Principle.”
Becoming Principle-Based is the first step in becoming a courageous leader.
