Five Traits of a Courageous Leader – Part IV
We’re examining the five traits of a courageous leader. When commanded to eat meat and drink wine that had been sacrificed to other gods, the prophet, Daniel, said no, but, carefully.
The fourth trait that Daniel modeled was “Creativity.” Daniel was in a difficult, yet delicate situation. He had resolved not to violate his beliefs, but Daniel’s overseer was reluctant to help Daniel, because he feared losing his life.
Daniel became creative.
Daniel 1:12 says, ““Please test your servants for ten days, and let us be given some vegetables to eat and water to drink. … and deal with your servants according to what you see.”
Daniel used creativity to come up with a win/win solution. If you’re facing an uncertain situation today in your workplace, pray for creativity.
