DAY 1 OF 5

  "A Heavy Burden"

Micah

The leaders of Israel loved what was evil. Micah, the prophet, carried the burden of speaking against this. He sometimes howled and wailed like the animals (Micah 1:8) to get people's attention.

What is your burden? You are not alone. Remember, God has not forgotten you.

· The presence of God reassures you.

· There is hope in the Lord.

· God is love, mercy, and justice.

What causes your burden?

How can you depend more on God than on yourself or others?

How does your relationship with God help you lighten your load?

God sees you, knows you, and can hear and answer your prayers. When it comes to the trials you are facing, His understanding is greater than yours so you can bring your burdens to Him in prayer and trust Him to work things out for your good.

About this Plan

JUST LIKE US

As we experience the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, feelings of isolation, anxiety, and stress can overwhelm us. But we must remember that "All things work together for the good of those who are called by His name," -Romans 8:28. When reading the Bible we often forget that God's people had dreams, goals, and the struggles, just like us. By trusting God, as they did, we can overcome our trials.
