DAY 2 OF 5

"Comfort In Uncomfortable Times"

Hosea

Hosea, the prophet, experienced one of the most profound and tragic love stories. His story proves God's ability to use the circumstances of life to provide a greater lesson of His enduring love. Is your relationship broken or in pain? Remember, God does care.

· Take time to heal from a broken promise or relationship.

· You can only change you and let God change everything else.

· Find and embrace positive ways to love yourself.

What boundaries should you set to enhance your relationships?

How does loving God encourage you to develop strong relationships?

How can you improve on keeping promises?

Although we desire to do what is right, there will be times when we sin and fall short of God’s will for us. When we return to Him seeking forgiveness, He freely gives it to us. When people let us down, we tend not to forgive as easily but we must learn to allow God’s grace for us to compel us to show grace to others. That doesn’t mean allowing others to continue to hurt us, it means letting go of any vengeful feelings and moving on with our lives.

Reflection Scriptures:

Psalm 55:22

Psalm 119:50

About this Plan

JUST LIKE US

As we experience the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, feelings of isolation, anxiety, and stress can overwhelm us. But we must remember that "All things work together for the good of those who are called by His name," -Romans 8:28. When reading the Bible we often forget that God's people had dreams, goals, and the struggles, just like us. By trusting God, as they did, we can overcome our trials.
