"The Battle Is Not Over"
Deborah
Deborah, a judge, was faced with the problem of directing a military leader to follow God's direction. Barak would not lead the army unless Deborah went. Are your plans out of focus? Here are ways to refocus.
· Create a flexible plan.
· Pray, relax, and regroup.
· Ask God and others for help.
What fears do you have about taking on specific responsibilities?
Identify a time you did what God told you to do and a time you did not.
What three people do you depend on to help you? Uniquely thank each of them.
When troubles come it’s not a time to give up on our faith, it’s time to hold on even tighter. Ways to do that include persevering in prayer, seeking help and guidance from trustworthy people of God, and believing God will work things out for our good.
Reflection Scriptures:
Exodus 15:1
Psalm 27:6

About this Plan

As we experience the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, feelings of isolation, anxiety, and stress can overwhelm us. But we must remember that "All things work together for the good of those who are called by His name," -Romans 8:28. When reading the Bible we often forget that God's people had dreams, goals, and the struggles, just like us. By trusting God, as they did, we can overcome our trials.
