A Leader You Can Trust Sample

Day 13: Selfless Service
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
John 19:1-42
Reflect
Crucifixion, being nailed to a cross, was a torturous way to die. Why would Jesus, the Son of God, submit to humiliation, beatings, and torture? What do we learn about how terrible sin is? What do we learn about the depth of God's love for us?
Respond
Jesus, I am reminded when I asked You how much You loved me, You said, "I love you THIS much," and then You spread out Your arms, and died. Amen.

About this Plan

Life gives us roles, but not scripts. We need a leader with vision, clear direction, and a willingness to do hard things for the greater good. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to as “Lord,” which means boss or commander. He can give you the guidance to transform every aspect of your life. In this plan, you’ll learn about the life and miracles of Jesus recorded by his first followers.
