River Valley Church SOAP - Part 10Sample

Luke 15 shares the well-known parables of the lost sheep, coin and son. Many Rabbis believed that God accepted repentant sinners, but Jesus showed that God actively seeks out the lost and wants them to be a part of His family. Jesus also addresses mammon, the spiritual tie we have to money. Although some may not have a lot of money, the desire for money may become a god or idol, and Jesus addresses that specific issue within people’s hearts.
North Koreans have long lived as slaves to a crooked regime. Let's pray that they may be liberated from the hands of darkness, and that God would send His Spirit to give hope and wisdom to them, as they put their trust in Jesus.
