River Valley Church SOAP - Part 10Sample

The idea of a conquering king was well known in that time. When a king entered into a village or town, he would be riding on a war horse and his citizens would sing his praise. Jesus rode humbly on a donkey while His followers sang praises to Him. The religious leaders were concerned and asked Jesus to quiet His followers. As a response, Jesus makes mention of the Psalms where David described creation proclaiming praise to God. Jesus actually prophecies about the siege of Jerusalem, which happened several decades later, and is additional proof for many scholars that Jesus was who He claimed to be.
North Koreans have long been indoctrinated and lied to under this regime's evil rule. Let's pray the their eyes would be opened to truth, and that the Lord would embolden a people who can bring His righteousness and justice to the country.
