SWHW Bible Reading Plan: December 2021Sample
Top Takeaway from Joni Stepp:
“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;” Revelation 19:7
The Bride of Christ is the Church.
Believers from all of history, every tribe and tongue.
We are the ones forgiven our sins and are granted to be in the presence of God for eternity, despite our transgressions against Holy God. We have this forgiveness because of the price paid for us by Jesus Christ on the cross.
When this life is over, we, the Bride, will be invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
No matter what we’ve gone through or will go through individually and collectively as the Church, it ends in victory.
It ends in welcoming.
It ends with a seat at the table.
We can hold to the truths we read in Revelation and know the end of the story is GOOD.
Revelation should make us, as the Church, the most joyful, most at peace people on the planet.
We know who holds the future.
We know the point of it all.
We know the goodness of God wins.
And we are in His presence and peace forever.
Oh, what a hope we have.
Father, You have a plan; it is going forward, and we are in the midst of it. Thank You for this chapter and this book that gives us the hope and joy that eternity holds for us as the Church. Give us a longing for heaven and Your peace today. Amen.

About this Plan
Using God's Word as the foundation for our conversation, every devotional is written by women in the trenches of faith, family, and work, aiming to live for the glory of God and the good of others. There are enough devotions included for a typical five-day work schedule. We recommend plugging into your local church for the remaining two days of each week.
