Happy International Mother’s Day!

Today is a very special day. We celebrate someone special, our mothers.

A mother plays an important role in our lives. It is mothers who conceive, give birth, and then together with fathers, who are equally important, they nurture, raise, protect, and care for their children until the end.

Through a mother, we can learn so many things - endless love, sacrifice without asking for anything in return, the willingness to share what she has, faith and strong hope, just to name a few.

For the next week, we will learn from a number of mothers in the Bible and see how they were the light with their every being.

Today, on this joyful day, let’s take a moment to pray for and show our love to our mothers. Let your love abound the same way a mother’s love overflows to her children.

Be thankful for the opportunity of being a mother or a father and always ask for God’s wisdom to be upon you as you are raising God’s treasured gift - your child.
