A Child's Guide To: Being God's Little HelpersSample
When Learning is Hard
I am the Lord All-Powerful. So don’t depend on your own power or strength, but on my Spirit.
Zechariah 4:6b (CEV)
It’s hard to learn new things! As a kid, you have to do it all the time. You have to learn how to tie a shoelace, how to ride a bike, how to read and do math, how to write and spell awesome.
Do you ever get tired of learning? Do you think God is helping you grow so you can do great things for Him? Maybe you think you will never be able to do anything special because you aren’t strong enough or smart enough.
In today’s Bible verse, a man named Zerubbabel was told that he would build a temple, which is like a church. It seemed too big and too hard for him to do. But God told him it would happen! Zerubbabel didn’t have to do it with only his own muscles and brains because God would help him.
God wants you to be part of the great work He is doing here on Earth. He will help you learn and grow so you can do His work. He can even help you learn how to spell Zerubbabel!

GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
Baby robins follow their fathers around for 2-3 weeks, watching them pick up the bugs they all eat for dinner. (Gross!) But it’s cool how the baby birds learn new things!
