Getting Smart
Who can measure the wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God? Who can understand his decisions or explain what he does? Has anyone known the thoughts of the Lord or given him advice?
Romans 11:33–34 (CEV)
Who’s the smartest person you know? They must know math and science, history and English, sports, health, cooking, and how to take care of the dog! It would take a very long time to learn all those things.
But God is so much smarter than even the smartest person you know! He knows how to fix a car . . . and how to fix a human. He knows what’s at the bottom of the deepest oceans . . . and what’s on faraway planets that no one has discovered yet. He knows what you are thinking . . . and why your dog keeps barking!
If God knows all those things, He knows exactly why He made you in the special way He did. It’s for a special purpose that is part of His plan! Remember that your very wise and loving God made you exactly the way He wanted.

As you grow older, you will learn and understand more. The best way to start is to read the Bible every day. After all, it is God’s Word; so when you read it, you are learning from the very smartest!

GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
It’s very cool how dogs can learn new tricks. But did you know cats are super smart, too? Cats can learn to fetch, sit, shake your hand, give you a kiss, and many other fun things! (Some people even teach their cat how to use the toilet... and flush it when they are done!)
