The Bible In AustraliaSample

When British convicts were sent to Australia in 1788, the chaplain Richard Johnson was sent with them. He preached the first sermon on Australian soil shortly after arrival, and took this Psalm as his text. It may have seemed odd to emphasis God’s goodness to this particular audience, but knowing the name of the Lord is the key to peace in any situation.
Are you able to perceive God’s goodness in the midst of confusing and difficult circumstances? Does the promise of salvation help?
Lord, teach me to see the world through your eyes, not my own. Amen.
