I AmSample
Let's say you have a map to a treasure chest that holds a check for one million dollars. Not only that, but it's a magical chest that prints a new check for one million dollars for each person who finds it! Because of its unlimited value, there would be no reason to keep this map a secret.
When something comes at no cost to us, it's pretty easy to share. The thing about sharing our story is, we tend to focus so much on the risk that comes with opening up to someone about our faith. We often forget that the very thing we are sharing — our faith story — isn't a value we have placed on ourselves but a gift God has given us to share with others freely.
When we know Jesus, we know a love that was not ashamed to be put on display for us. Wouldn't we want everyone to know this kind of unashamed love by sharing it with the same kind of boldness?
No one can tell your story the way you do. Your journey of faith is important and can help others know God for themselves. Don't worry about having all the answers or needing to convince anyone to believe. All you have to do is take that first step and remember the story you share is a gift that's been given to you so you can share it unashamed.

About this Plan
When Jesus was on earth, there were a few times when he told his followers exactly who he was. For the next four weeks, we'll explore some of these stories to find out how Jesus described himself to others. We'll take a look at what changes when we hear Jesus tell us he is love, he is truth, he is always with us, and how he is our Savior.
