I AmSample
Have you ever been to Times Square in New York City? Skyscraper-sized video billboards, traffic noise, crowds of people from around the world, and street performers vying for your attention — it’s quite an overwhelming experience. You don’t know which way to look, where to walk, or even what to think.
Our lives can feel a lot like that, crowded with noise and distractions. Whether it's our social media feeds, school workloads, or expectations placed on us, we are inundated with noise that can drown out what we most need to hear — the voice of Jesus. When we don’t hear Jesus, we will believe lies.
Do you feel unworthy? Jesus thought you worthy to die for. We can often find ourselves overwhelmed by our deepest fears and insecurities. Instead of leaning into the world’s lies, we have the chance to hear the truth of God’s love.
In order to turn down the noise, we need to tune our hearts to hear Jesus. To know his voice, we need to spend time listening out for it by reading the Bible and praying. Find creative ways to make your time with Jesus “noise-free.” Go for a walk. Leave your phone in another room. When we take time listening out for Jesus, we'll find ourselves more motivated to live out of God’s love.

About this Plan
When Jesus was on earth, there were a few times when he told his followers exactly who he was. For the next four weeks, we'll explore some of these stories to find out how Jesus described himself to others. We'll take a look at what changes when we hear Jesus tell us he is love, he is truth, he is always with us, and how he is our Savior.
