You Are Created For...Sample
There is a dimension of this relationship that goes beyond words. There is a breeze blowing and He is in the wind. You can't see the wind. We can't see our God. He is an invisible God, but He is there. I can only experience Him, intuitively sense Him. Maybe perceive the effect like the rustling of the leaves, see some effect of His presence. Elijah, the prophet, had such an experience. He is on the mountain and many things are happening on the mountain, things that have happened in the past, ways in which God has been experienced, but now there is only the sound of a gentle breeze, says the Old Translation. The King James says, "The still small voice." It's just silence. There is a place beyond words. I am just with Him. I am just with Him and I feel Him. My intuition says and perceives, "I am with Him."
I remember my grandfather and grandmother on the porch when I was young, in the afternoons, they would sit together and often just sigh or look at each other and smile and there were no words. It was so wonderful for my brother and me to play around them because there was something wonderful there - that bond, that just being in each other's presence. It forms a deep connection.
A friend of mine who was agnostic once told me, "I don't even know if He exists." And I invited him, "Well, why don't you ask Him then?" And he said, "How can I talk to someone I don't know if He exists? Let's say I talk to Him as if He might exist and ask Him - talk to me, work with me, come to me." He did that and through a lot of things that happened to him, he came to a deep conviction that there is a God and He is good. And he started building a relationship with the Lord.
You would never want to do it if you didn't know you could. You are made for it. It helps to see other people who have it and how they get it. That deep conviction in you - no matter what I have done, no matter how it has been for me in the past - it is possible. It's faith that must come to fruition in you. And then you have to find a way. Perhaps one of the best and simplest ways is to reach out to people who want to do it, who are trying to do it, and go on a journey with them so that you can learn what it is.
To find a place, to find a time, to open up, to listen, to pay attention, to have the experience in your heart that often overflows into your soul and your emotions, that can give you goosebumps, that you are with Him, so that you can build this relationship, anchor yourself for the storms, the currents, the time in which we live.

About this Plan
Life is about relationships. We are created to live in relationship with Him (Me - Thou), Others (Me - You) & the World (Me - It). Therefore, we want to go deeper into God, closer to each other, and further in our world.
