Trust

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

Giving someone your trust is not always easy. There is so much risk involved in trusting. All the questions arise in your mind: “What if they disappoint me?” “What if they reject me?” “What if they fall through?” But, you can trust God; He is trustworthy. When you do step out in faith to trust God, you get something in return. You will find new strength.

Most of the time when we are reaching out to God for His help, we have already come to the realization that we cannot do it on our own. We need help. Usually in this stage, we are weary because we have already tried everything. God will give us strength in these times. The strength God gives us is His strength, not ours. Lean into Him. Place your faith in a sovereign God who is the creator of all and ruler over all. He will not disappoint you. Trust Him and His outcome. He is good and wants good for you because you are His child, and He loves you.

Father,

Thank you for loving me. Thank you that I can trust you and you are faithful. It is hard to trust sometimes, but I know in my heart you are trustworthy. Give me faith. I want to rest in you.
