"But God showed His love to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

You are deeply loved by your Heavenly Father. Don’t ever forget that. No matter how you “feel” always remind yourself you are loved. You do not have to perform a certain way. You do not have to be good all the time. He loves and accepts you just as you are. God also knows the true you. He knows your talents and your anger issues; He knows about your insecurities and your deepest desires. God knows everything about you, and He loves all of you. We know this fact is true because God sent His son, Jesus, to die for you, and the rest of mankind, even when we were full of sin. God accepted us even while we were sinners. We don’t have to prove ourselves to Him; we have already been accepted.

The next time you don’t feel “good enough,” remind yourself you are loved, and you are worthy to be loved. No other relationship comes with such unconditional love. Whatever sins you have committed, God has forgiven you and loves you. Accept this free gift.

Father,

Thank you for your unconditional love for me. Thank you that I don’t have to perform or prove my worth to you, but you accept me just the way I am. I am truly humbled by your love, and I want to love the way you love.
