God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 21
Every Jew alive in the first century knew the prophecies about the coming king. They waited anxiously for a great leader to come. So when he rode into town on that donkey, a symbol of peace, they knew he was the guy. They were ready to crown him the king of Israel.
But Jesus didn’t come to rule a group of people or a scrap of land. He came to restore our relationship with the God who loves us and to rule in our hearts. The King that Scripture prophesied about was not just for the nation of Israel, but for all of us.
He was their King that day. He is my King today. Is he your King too?
