God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 25
We don’t know much about the owner of the donkey Jesus rode on, except that they protested when they saw the disciples taking the donkey. I can imagine the owner had plans for that donkey, maybe to raise it and sell it or to use it in the fields. Yet, from all appearances, when they realized God had a need for it, they surrendered their own plans and let the donkey be used.
You likely don’t have a young donkey that God is going to ask you to surrender, but would you be willing to give Him what He does ask of you? Maybe it’s your time, your talents, your money, your ideas. Most of us don’t have money sitting around that we don’t know what to do with. Often times we have many ideas of what we could use our time for. If God revealed to you that He had need of those things, would you protest or would you let Him have them?
