God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 29
On the day Jesus died, the disciples thought their teacher accidentally fell into the wrong hands. The Jewish leaders thought they were smart to get rid of the troublemaker. The Roman soldiers thought their whips, nails, and swords were powerful.
They were all wrong.
Jesus entered Jerusalem, allowed them to arrest him, and hung on the cross with intention. Since man first sinned in the garden, the payment for sin has been the blood of a perfect sacrifice. Jesus, the only perfect man, gave his blood on the day the Jews made their annual sacrifice so that he could pay for the sins of all mankind and no one would ever have to sacrifice again. Down to the minute, God planned it all—to show you and me how much he loves each one of us.
