God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Jesus’ Arrest, Trial, and Crucifixion - Day 1
“I’ll be praying for you.” We utter those words constantly—to the person who is hurting, excited, nervous, etc. We say it to our neighbors, our best friends, and the random lady who poured her heart out to us at the grocery store. Do we actually follow through? What keeps us from stopping right then and there and actually praying instead of just saying it?
Obedience to God isn’t always comfortable. Many reasons that keep us from praying with someone in the moment are the same reasons that keep us from obeying God in the big things. It’s awkward, unexpected, inconvenient, you name it. What if those awkward, unexpected, or inconvenient calls from God are actually opportunities to worship God?
