God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)Sample

Jesus’ Arrest, Trial, and Crucifixion - Day 2
Has God ever asked you to do something really hard? Jesus was faced with a very difficult task, and he admitted to God that he didn’t want to do it. But he loves us, and he loves his Father, so he chose to show that love by being obedient to God’s plan.
In our cushy and comfortable lives, God isn’t asking us to die a gruesome death on a cross, but he might ask us to adopt or foster the child other parents don’t want. He might ask us to quit a job where the boss bends the law. He might ask us to set aside our pride in order to rebuild a broken marriage. We may not jump joyfully at the opportunity to do something hard, but we can do something hard as an opportunity to tell God we love him.
