Face Your Fears 10 Day DevotionalSample

DAY 10 | BUILDING LASTING TRUST IN GOD
God’s Word is alive and powerful, providing comfort, wisdom, and direction, especially amid trials. When fear seeks to dominate your thoughts, turn to Scripture. When things are not as they should be because of sin and the sinful decisions of others, know that you can still trust His Word. It has the power to lift your spirits, provide clarity, and reaffirm all of God’s promises.
Consider how God’s Word is a comfort and source of life during trials. Write down the promises of God that you can hold onto during fearful times.

GUIDED PRAYER:
Faithful God, I trust in You as my refuge and strength. Let Your Word be a light in my path and comfort in my afflictions. May Your Word be my anchor in times of fear. Help me not focus on the situation or the part that others have played in it, but to entirely rely on You.
Amen.

About this Plan

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
