Face Your Fears 10 Day DevotionalSample

DAY 9 | THE BATTLE OF THE MIND
When you allow your thoughts to run wild, it is easy to get caught up in the emotions of it all. But you will never get to enjoy what God is doing in your life if you are worried about all the problems, difficulties, and issues. What you choose to focus on will determine the direction you go.
Explore the importance of taking thoughts captive to Christ. Once you have isolated those thoughts and taken them to Christ, allow Him to focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, and praiseworthy, as we read in Philippians 4:8.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, help me not get caught up in my emotions but rather identify these negative thoughts and replace them with Your truth. Help me quickly recognize the enemy’s lies and discard them. Transform my mind with Your truth. You are the God of truth, and I can trust You.
Amen.

About this Plan

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
