DAY 8 | GOD'S PROMISES AND SOVEREIGNTY
Everyone in the world faces difficulties. The difference is as a child of God, you can face difficulties with confidence and hope. Nothing is ever wasted by God. Embrace your difficulties as a part of His testimony of grace in your life. If God is for you, then who can possibly be against you? God’s faithfulness is unwavering, and He is committed to completing the work He began in you.
Reflect on God’s sovereignty and the assurance that He works all things for your good. Meditate on Isaiah 55, considering how God’s thoughts and ways are higher than yours. Trust in the divine promises that His Word will accomplish its purposes.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Almighty God, I know You haven’t brought me this far to leave me now. You will continue to be faithful every day in every situation, and I want to trust in Your perfect plans for me, even when I don’t understand them. Help me remember all the times that You used what I thought was an impossible situation to show Your power and grace. Your ways are higher than mine, and I trust You with the details of my life. Assure me of Your promises and remind me that You work all things for my good and Your glory.
Amen.
