Face Your Fears 10 Day Devotional

DAY 4 OF 10

DAY 4 | GOD'S FAITHFUL PRESENCE

The presence of God is a constant promise, even when you walk through life’s darkest valleys. Fear of man makes you feel isolated and separated from God, but the truth is He is always with you, guiding and comforting you, and He promises to give you His strength and help. God’s deliverance of Israel at the Red Sea exemplifies His steadfast presence. The Israelites' experience reminds you that what seems like an impossible situation is an opportunity for God to display His power and faithfulness. When you feel trapped by circumstances with no apparent escape, God can make a way where there seems to be none.

Take a few moments to remember the times in your life when you felt God's comforting presence and strength despite your fears. Write down examples of past instances where God has shown you His faithfulness.

Now, consider situations where you need to trust God more fully. Surrender those to Him and let Him remind you that He is still with you, offering comfort and guidance no matter what you face.

GUIDED PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and the promise that You will strengthen me, help me, and show me the way. Remind me that even in the valley, You are present and that You are protecting me from my enemies. God, I pray for increased awareness of Your presence in my life. Help me let go of the fear and trust You.

Amen.

About this Plan

Face Your Fears 10 Day Devotional

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
