Day 6 – Good Fruit

"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!"

Think About It:

Apple trees grow apples, orange trees grow oranges, but what kind of "fruit" do you grow? When you follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit helps you produce amazing fruit like love, joy, peace, and kindness. Just like real fruit, spiritual fruit shows what kind of tree you are! Some people have beautiful, sweet fruit that makes others smile, while others have rotten fruit that hurts people. We're all better at some fruits than others. Maybe you're great at joy but struggle with patience. That's okay! The Holy Spirit helps you grow stronger every day, giving you chances to show good fruit to everyone around you.

Jesus, thank You for showing me how to bear good fruit. Holy Spirit, help me grow fruit that shows I belong to You. Amen.
