When Trust Becomes TestimonySample

Trust That Anchors Hope
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13, NIV)
Hope can feel fragile. We open our hearts and begin to hope for something—an outcome, a relationship, a dream—and when things don’t materialize the way we wanted, we’re heartbroken.
But true hope isn’t fragile. It’s secure, because it’s anchored in God Himself, who is steady, unchanging, and holy. As we trust in Him, joy and peace blossom. Then, hope overflows. God is the God of hope, and trust is an anchor that keeps us tethered to Him.
Life will still happen; waves will rock the boat. But we are fixed to the Rock of our salvation, and we will not be moved. Fear has no hold when faith makes a way.
When we fall on God with our full weight, we are steadied and held. We find peace, and from a place of peace, hope grows. Fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit, we step into places we never would have imagined, but we can be there, because we are with Him.
Feeling far from hope? Return to the Rock. Repeat to yourself what you know of God’s character and hold to His promises. Trust anchors deep hope.
The truth for today is: Hope overflows from trust. God gives joy and peace that cannot be shaken.
Prayer:
God of hope, You fill me with joy and peace. Anchor me deeply in You so I may overflow with hope while I trust You. You never let me down. Amen.
Reflection Question:
Where do you need hope renewed today? Ask God to give you His hope.
About this Plan

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
