When Trust Becomes Testimony

DAY 29 OF 30

Trust That Shapes Tomorrow

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3, NIV)

We don’t know what will happen tomorrow. Our life isn’t mapped out with detailed description. We can’t see what’s around the bend. But we know where we belong, and that is with God.

You may still be sitting in the middle of what is unseen. In the mess, in the wounding, in the mundane waiting for a breakthrough. God is there, with you, and He knows how your path will play out.

Trusting God with tomorrow doesn’t mean we don’t do our diligence living and interacting like Jesus would. We have mortgages, mouths to feed, and miracles to witness. We walk forward in faith, resting in belief that He will take care of our needs, show us more of Himself, and reveal His plans. We step out in trust, and He shapes our path, one surrender at a time. We commit the wayward relative to Him. We place His Word within our pounding heart. We give Him access to the core of us, giving Him control of our days.

There is no need to know what’s coming tomorrow, next Tuesday, or two years from now. Simply trusting God today shapes our faith for tomorrow. And that is enough.

The truth for today is: God is shaping our faith for tomorrow. We can rest today.

Prayer:

Lord, I want to know what the days ahead will bring. But I want to know more about You. I commit my plans to You to shape according to Your will. I give You my tomorrow, and the rest of my days. Amen.

Reflection Question:

What part of tomorrow’s worries can you place in God’s hands today?

About this Plan

When Trust Becomes Testimony

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
