Trust the ProcessSample

VISION BEGINS WITH TRUSTING THE PROCESS
Reflection:
Vision does not begin with clarity; it begins with trust. When God invited Mary into His plan, He did not give her a full roadmap, only a promise. Her life was orderly, her future predictable, and her plans respectable. Then heaven interrupted. The announcement of Jesus did not cancel Mary’s discipline or purity, but it stretched her perspective. Vision often disrupts comfort before it produces calling. God’s process rarely aligns with our timelines, yet it always aligns with His purpose. Mary had questions, not objections. She asked “How?” not “Why me?” That posture matters. Vision grows in hearts that trust God’s character even when they cannot explain His methods. Dallas Willard once wrote, “God is not opposed to effort, but to earning.” Trusting the process means remaining faithful while God is forming you. Vision matures when we stop rushing outcomes and start embracing obedience. Christmas reminds us that God works quietly before He works visibly. What He starts in promise, He completes through process. Your responsibility is not to force the future, but to steward today with faith.
Application:
Today, identify one area where impatience may be replacing trust and invite God into that tension. Choose obedience in a small, clear step instead of waiting for perfect clarity. When anxiety surfaces, remind yourself that delay does not mean denial. Replace frustration with prayer whenever progress feels slow. Refuse comparison and commit to your unique assignment. Write down one promise God has spoken over your life and revisit it throughout the day as an anchor for hope.
Prayer:
Lord, help me trust Your process even when I cannot trace Your plan. I surrender my timeline to You and choose faith over fear, Amen.
