DAY 4: JESUS — THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

Study Scriptures:

Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”

John 8:12 (NKJV)

“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”

Ephesians 5:8 (NLT)

“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!”

Jesus is not just the light of the world; He is the light within you. When His light enters your life, darkness loses its power. The shadows of sin, shame, and confusion vanish because the glory of God rises upon you.

When the light of God’s presence floods a life, darkness cannot remain. Scripture reminds us that “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). The “shadows” of sin, shame and confusion are temporary coverings that lose their power the moment divine glory breaks through.

The Holy Spirit enables this light to shine through our words, choices, and actions. The world may be filled with darkness, but those who carry Christ illuminate the path for others. You are not hidden; you are a reflection of the One who lights up eternity.

CONFESSION

I am a child of light. The light of Christ shines in and through me, dispelling all darkness. I walk in divine clarity, purity, and purpose by the power of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER DECLARATION

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the light that guides me. Let Your light fill every dark area of my heart and renew my mind daily. Holy Spirit, make me a vessel of light in a dark generation. Let Your glory rise upon me and draw others to the brightness of Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
