Stripped Before SentSample

Day 3: When Borrowed Direction Runs Out
Focus
Learning to rely on God directly.
Devotional
In seasons of uncertainty, it is easy to rely on voices instead of presence. Leaders. Mentors. Prophetic words. Each voice brings temporary comfort, but not lasting transformation.
Over time, those voices grow quiet. Not because God has withdrawn, but because He is inviting deeper dependence.
God does not want your life directed by interpretation alone. He wants a relationship. He wants trust that does not require constant reassurance.
Silence can feel unsettling, but it often signals intimacy. God is teaching you to hear Him without filters.
Reflection Questions
- Who or what do you turn to first for direction?
- How comfortable are you sitting with God without immediate answers?
Bible Reading
Psalm 62:5
John 10:27

About this Plan

Many people grow up around church without truly knowing God. Faith becomes familiar, prayer becomes transactional, and identity remains unsettled. This plan follows a real journey where calling came early but understanding came later. Life did not suddenly improve. Instead came seasons of waiting, loss, training, and unlearning. Stripped Before Sent is a 10-day devotional about formation before commission. It is not about arrival, but recognising what God is doing beneath the surface.
