LOCK INSample

Jesus withdrew to hear from God
Ultimately, for us to lock in wholeheartedly, sometimes we need to withdraw from all the noise and step into a lonely place with God.
Jesus, fully God and fully man, demonstrated the importance of this.
Two things stand out as we read this Scripture.
It was before the rest of the day commenced that Jesus positioned Himself to hear from the Lord.
And it was lonely. No phone. No friends. Just Himself and the Lord.
What could your day, month, or year look like if you put this into practice?
If you steadied yourself to hear the voice of the Lord?
Prayer:
God, speak. I am listening.
Give me the boldness to hear and obey You.
Help me withdraw from the noise of the world so I can hear Your still, quiet voice.

About this Plan

We all know what it’s like to lock in. To focus fully on the task at hand. It might be a test at school, a sporting competition, or preparing to perform at your best. When something matters, we prepare for it. So why do we often prepare so well for everything else, but neglect our relationship with God? It is our prayer this year that above all else, we would lock in to what matters most. Our relationship with God. Let’s lock in together.
