New BeginningsSample

It's okay to start over.
At the beginning of the year, it is difficult to resume habits we had given up, and it also becomes difficult to create new habits. Guilt quickly sets in when we accuse ourselves of not reading the Bible, praying, or attending church. Even for activities that are not so spiritual, such as watching what we eat, going to the gym, or getting enough sleep, we find it difficult to maintain a habit or routine. However, it's always a good time to start over, no matter if a month of the new year has already passed or if you're halfway through; it's okay to start over.
We always refer to the funny phrase "I'll start my diet on Monday" because we all know that Monday will never come. But what if you don't have to wait until Monday? What if you start today, right where you are, right where you left off with your habit?
We believe that we will never be able to leave the place (physical or emotional) where we are; we may even think that we will never be able to start that business we dream of, get a new job, improve our health, change our life, or grow in our spiritual life.
We can trust in the words of the apostle Paul and be sure that God will finish His work in us. And if God can continue to work in us even though we fail Him, how much more can we continue to move forward each day, despite having failed or not having everything we want.
The healing message you need to understand, believe, and feel today is this: it's okay to start over, it's okay to begin again, our faith is not rooted in achieving victory, but in never giving up.
Start now. Start where you are. Do it despite the pain, fear, or doubts. Do it even if you don't feel like it. Start with what you have and don't stop.
God is waiting for you.
