DAY 5 – Worship in Spirit
Scripture
“…will worship the Father in spirit…” John 4:23 (ESV)
Devotion
To worship in spirit is not produced by outward form or environment.
It flows from the new life God gives by His Spirit.
God is spirit, and He is not confined to physical spaces. True worship, therefore, is not confined to outward forms but flows from a heart made alive by Him.
This is the work of the Spirit. He gives new life, draws us to God, and enables us to respond to Him.
This kind of worship cannot be produced by effort. It is the result of God’s work within.
Application
Ask God to shape your heart by His Spirit. Seek worship that flows from the life He gives, not performance you create.
Prayer
Father, by Your Spirit, give life to my heart. Let my worship flow from what You are doing within me.
