WALK HUMBLY WITH GOD
Anchor Scripture: Micah 6:8
“What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Humility is not weakness; it is accurate self-awareness before God. Scripture places humility at the center of spiritual maturity because pride distorts judgment while humility preserves clarity.
Walking humbly means recognizing dependence on God daily. James reminds us, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). Grace flows most freely where humility creates space for it. Pride resists instruction; humility welcomes correction.
Jesus modeled humility perfectly. Philippians 2:5–8 shows that although He had authority, He chose obedience and service. His humility did not reduce His power; it revealed it.
Humility stabilizes growth. It keeps progress grounded and success sustainable.
