You Were Designed Flawlessly
If I started talking about the "new car smell," would you know what I meant? I bet you can almost smell it right now. There is nothing like the thrill of a new car. That is, until you realize you have no idea where the windshield wiper button is and you badly underestimate how large the car is as you scrape into what looked like the perfect parking spot.
Thankfully, cars come with a manual, or more recently, a handy YouTube tutorial written by the people who designed it. If you want to get the best out of that car, read the manual. Or better yet, get on a first-name basis with the designer. Imagine all the secrets and shortcuts you would learn if the person who built it were your best friend and next-door neighbor.
When He created you, it was perfect. Without flaw. Nothing broken. Whole. But life does not always feel that way. So what happened?
Questions to pray on:
- Do you actually believe God made you without flaw? What makes that hard to accept?
- If God is the "designer" of your life, what would it look like to go to Him first when something feels off, instead of Google, a friend, or your own instincts?
- What is one area of your life where you have been operating without reading the manual?
About this Plan

What does it mean to live the life you were actually designed for? Not the life you have settled into, or stumbled through, but the one God had in mind when He made you? That's the question at the heart of this devotional. Over the next six days, we will walk through the story of who you are, how things went sideways, and how God has been working ever since to bring you back to the fullness of life He intended. The best part? You don't need a shortcut or a life hack. You just need to know your Designer.
