Why Sacrifice? Embracing God’s Promises For Joy And FruitfulnessSample
Purpose
We are called into God’s Kingdom for a God-glorifying purpose. The Lord commands us to take part in spreading His glory and reaching the lost and broken. It starts with honoring God in all we do and saying yes to accomplishing the good works He has prepared for us.
Go. Send. Welcome. Give. Pray. Some, like the apostle Paul, are called to go where Christ is not yet known. Many are called to send their loved ones to far off lands. Look what God has done to bring the nations to our own neighborhoods, and welcome them. As believers, we are all invited to give generously of our resources, finances, and gifts to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ and help reach the lost. Others are led to sacrifice their time to pray for lost people. In these five responses to the need we obey our Lord.
No matter the size of our offerings, the Lord receives and uses them for His glorious purposes and blesses others through us.
