Throughout Scripture, God reveals that He is trustworthy. His promises are true and unchanging. We can go to Him with our decisions and dreams, and offer Him our lives, knowing for certain that He’ll faithfully lead us down a better course than we could have set for ourselves.

Obedience to God’s commands isn’t always easy. It requires a deep understanding of His character as revealed in Scripture, as well as daily, active reliance on Him. Even in fearful situations, we must grow to trust Him as the God who saves. The Lord will not fail us. So as the Holy Spirit leads us to take steps of faith toward sacrifice and submission, we respond in obedience and trust Him to guide our steps and provide for our needs. 

When we trust God in the midst of our fear and weakness, He goes with us and equips us to do more for the Kingdom than we could ever do on our own.
