Meditations on Messiahنموونە

The Word Became Flesh
The mystery of God’s heart is revealed in this one sentence. The eternal Word, through whom all things were made, stepped into the world He created. The invisible became visible. The Holy became human. The Creator entered creation so that His children might behold His glory up close.
John does not describe angels or shepherds or stars. Instead, he gives us the essence of the miracle — that God came near enough to walk our roads, breathe our air, and touch our pain. The glory of the Father was not wrapped in thunder but in tenderness. In Jesus, grace and truth were no longer distant ideals but a living presence that met people in their need.
To look at Christ is to see what the heart of God truly looks like. His compassion reveals the Father’s love; His truth reveals the Father’s holiness. In Him, there is no divide between majesty and mercy.
The Word still dwells among us, shaping our hearts, healing our wounds, and filling our lives with His light. One day, that same glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Until then, we live in wonder that the Word became flesh and made His home with us.
For Reflection
Where do I sense the Word dwelling in me today, shaping my heart with grace and truth?
Gather Around the Table
Thank Jesus for coming close and revealing the Father’s heart in every word and deed.
