Meditations on Messiahنموونە

Meditation
Before Jesus taught the crowds or healed the sick, the Father’s voice broke through the heavens. At the water’s edge, love spoke first. The Son stood dripping with the river’s current, and the Spirit descended like a dove, resting upon Him in peace. From the heart of God came words that have never stopped echoing: This is My Son, the Beloved.
Here, the mystery of divine communion unfolds — Father, Son, and Spirit moving together in perfect harmony. The Father’s delight poured out freely, not as a response but as a revelation of who Jesus had always been: deeply known, deeply loved. Those same words stretch across time and rest upon us: You are Mine. You are loved.
The Spirit’s resting marked the beginning of His mission, but the Father’s affection became His foundation. Anchored in that love, Jesus moved through the world with a peace that could not be shaken. And now, through Him, the same Spirit rests upon us, teaching our hearts to trust that love and walk in it.
For Reflection
How might remembering the Father’s delight in me reshape the way I serve, love, and live today?
Gather Around the Table
Thank the Father for His love that still speaks, and for the Spirit who rests upon those who belong to Him.
