21 Days After CampSample

Interested or Committed
“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in something you do it when it benefits you and when you have nothing better to do. When you’re committed to something you accept no excuses, only results.” -Kenneth Blanchard
We all know that person who only shows up for the good stuff. Are you that person? Whether it’s a concert, camp, or a special event your group is doing, interested people always show up. When it’s a normal youth service, a day to serve your community or maybe your youth pastor asked for people to show up early or stay late to help set up and tear down, there you’ll find the committed people.
When you say yes to Jesus, you’re also saying yes to His church. The church is His chosen method to reach a lost world and to make disciples. When you’re not connected and committed, it’s so much harder to live for Jesus and have an impact on the world around us.
Are you interested or committed? One of the greatest ways to stay committed to Jesus is to stay committed to His church. I dare you to find a way to serve at your next youth service. If you don’t know where to start, just ask your youth pastor. They’ll be glad to help!
