River Valley Church SOAP - Part 5Sample

As Nehemiah’s mission continues, he sets various men and families in charge of different sections of the city. Instead of one large project where Nehemiah tries to control every worker, he breaks the building efforts into groups. Everything seems to be going well until the city walls are about half complete. The enemies of the Jewish people become more and more worried about the progress, and they attempt to descend on Jerusalem secretly to fight against the Jews. Nehemiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem decide to look to God for safety, and their enemies back off their attack. Nehemiah shows us once again of the favor and care God has for His people. All we have to do is seek after Him in prayer!
