These final chapters share the blessings and promises of the age to come. God is going to create a new heaven, and a new earth, and there shall be no more weeping. This is what we look forward to! Heaven is the Lord’s throne, and the earth His footstool. His coming Kingdom will include all people; even the Gentiles will come to know of the Lord, and some of them will even become priests! All will worship before the Lord, and this is exactly the picture the New Testament book of Revelation shares. All in all, the unified message of the Bible is simply this: Heaven is coming!
