River Valley Church SOAP - Part 5Sample

Timothy has been pastoring the church in Ephesus and Paul is writing this letter to help restore order in the church. There has been some false doctrine spreading and it was causing division among the believers. The letter addresses how the men of that church should not get into disputes out of anger, but devote themselves to prayer. Paul also addresses a group of women that use the church as a place to show off their wealth and status and teach the false doctrine they had been hearing. Paul's goal for both the men and women of this church is that they would submit to Timothy's leadership and grow in the proper faith.
