River Valley Church SOAP - Part 11Sample

Luke next outlines a debate at the Jerusalem council, whether certain Old Testament laws were still required for salvation. The delegates conclude the Gentiles were spiritually saved through the grace of Jesus, who forgave them and made them a new creation through their newfound faith in him. God’s grace is still extended to each one of us when we repent and believe Jesus Christ as our Savior. God’s purpose for this period in history is to bring people from all nations into a relationship with Him. Paul and Barnabas separate, and we read the powerful story of Paul and Silas in prison. Throughout the book of Acts, Luke points out that nothing can stop of the spread of Christ’s message!
