Easter - Where It HappenedSample

This Easter, we’re going to take a look at where it happened. The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places. When Jesus walked the Earth, here’s where it happened.
Jesus was born in a town called Bethlehem. When He was 12 years old, He astounded the teachers of the law when His family visited the temple in Jerusalem. As a grown-up, He fed 5,000 people with loaves and fish and calmed a raging storm at the Sea of Galilee. He had the last supper with His disciples in the upper room of a house in Jerusalem. After the meal, He went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. It was here He was arrested, and not long after, Jesus died on the cross at a place called Golgotha, outside of the city walls.
As we travel to the places WHERE Easter happened, we also remember WHY Easter happened. Jesus died on the cross at Golgotha so we could be saved, but the best part is He also came back to life again! He is with us today. We can talk with Him, tell others about Him, and live our lives with Jesus as our Lord.

About this Plan

The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places, places we can still see today. As we journey through the places where Easter happened, we remember why Easter happened. We remember that Jesus is our Lord, Saviour, and Risen King.
